SALON POLICIES

CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING

Any appointment cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made with no less than 24 hours notice.  Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure future appointments.  This deposit will be forfeited if such appointment is canceled, rescheduled or missed.   Any missed (no-show) appointments will require 100% deposit to secure future appointments and will be forfeited if such appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, or if such appointment is missed.       

LATENESS   

Please be early or on-time for appointments.  We try our best to stay on time for our clients and we appreciate the same!  If you are running late please call the salon as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate appropriately.  We cannot guarantee services for late appointments.       

REFUNDS

We do not issue refunds for any services, retail products, or gift certificates.  In the event you are not happy with your hair please contact the salon and we will happily schedule you to have any adjustments made with your stylist.  At times adjustments need to be made and we invite our clients to bring any issues to our attention.  

If you are not happy with your haircare product purchase,, please return it to the salon and we will happily exchange it for one better suited for your hair.

GIFT CERTIFICATES 

Gift certificates are only valid at the location in which it was purchased, and expire 5 years from the date of purchase.  Gift certificates are non-transferrable from client to client and are non-refundable.  

KIDS

We gladly accept appointments for humans of all ages.  Children's haircut prices are honored up until the child becomes 13 years of age. Chemical services for children are the same prices as adults & must be accompanied by an adult.  Please keep in mind that although we love children, we must maintain a peaceful environment for our other clients and for our staff.  Any behavior that effects the salon environment may result in managerial action.  Please do not bring children who do not have an appointment.  

GRATUITY 

We appreciate tips but unfortunately we cannot add tips to credit cards.  Please bring cash or we can direct you to the closest ATM.

CHEMICAL SERVICES

All chemical services come with a complimentary blow dry with either a stylist or an apprentice.  Curling iron or flat ironing may involve an extra charge. SBL is not responsible for any damage to clothing due to chemical treatments & robes are available for clients to wear.   Please be aware that prior chemical services may hinder or alter the results of another chemical service and SBL holds no responsibility for such results.    

IN BETWEEN TRIMS

An In-Between Trim is a spot-trim of one area or zone of an existing hairstyle such as trimming bangs/fringe, neck/ear trim (for shorter hairstyles), thinning out bulk, or weight reduction. An In-Between Trim is NEVER trimming or cutting length, or a trim of the overall ends, nor is it to cut new bangs/fringe.
