After exploring her field on arrival in the city, she soon realized that being in the salon was what really inspired and made her happy. Patrice is known for her color transformations, creating stunning dimensional blondes and natural balayaged brunettes. Your journey will begin with a warm, detailed consultation where Patrice will create a customized solution, utilizing modern cutting techniques and innovative styling trends. Patrice's talent and personality are her true differentiators, enabling her to make each client feel and look their ultimate best. Jessie's passion for hairstyling lies in classic, sophisticated, and elegant cuts and colors. She specializes in believable coloring, and cuts that enhance and work with the natural texture of each of her clients. Her style is effortless, easy, and chic- perfect for the person who wants to look fantastic without working too hard.
A science nerd at heart, Jessie has always been fascinated with the "how" of hair color, which led to her two year role as Field Educator for Wella Professionals, Soon's color of choice. This strong technical expertise has led her to join our own education team, readying our apprentices to be the next stylists of Soon!
Nicole is a multitalented and bicoastal fine artist, dancer and stylist. A Bay Area, California native, she has been with the Soon Beauty Lab team for over a decade. Her fresh cuts of unrivaled precision are inspired by the most en vogue styles. Nicole's consultations are catered to each client's personal hair style to help build confidence in finding the best look. Above all, she prides herself in her talent for bridal/special occasion styling, updos, makeup, color blending and perms. Nicole is also recognized internationally for helping to develop and promote New Style Hustle partner dancing. She spends her time in between California, New York and France exploring new landscapes, tasting new foods and spending quality time with her family, which includes her toddler, Marcel. Lauren’s approach to hair leans toward the natural and sophisticated. Whether that is a modern haircut or mimicking childlike dimension with balayage highlights. She aims for wearable texture and believable color. Lauren integrates a spectrum of techniques and is best known for her signature balayage blondes. Originally from Seattle, Lauren has trained on both coasts from talents of Aveda, L’Oreal Proffessional, and Wella. She is dedicated to keeping her craft up to date while maintaining a nod to the past. “I know my clients have very busy lives. I strive to give them something they can work with everyday. So they can feel their best with a look that fits their lifestyle!” Lauren is passionate about sharing her knowledge with future stylists, being a part of the education team at Soon Beauty Lab allows her to teach and mentor upcoming talent.
Cara has an eye for creating a personalized look. Be it a textured bob, long beachy layers or a structured mens cut. She adds just the right amount of dimension with soft color and highlights to create a wearable current look, that you can feel confident in everyday. Cara’s formal training took place at Toni&Guy in Austin, Texas where she specialized in advanced haircutting and styling techniques for eight years. Ready for a new chapter she relocated to New York in 2014. She has since received advance training in Wella hair color techniques and became a Gold.Key educator for Kevin Murphy. Cara loves that Kevin.Murphy provides products that have great functionality while still having a natural, earth and animal friendly foundation.
Joel works together with each client to bring out their individuality. Whether it is a simple trim, or a big change he recommends the best solutions of hair at all lengths for his clients to fit their daily lifestyle. He delivers wearable, and current haircuts, luxury and surfy blowouts, and rich colors with a friendly welcoming demeanor. Joel has taken advanced training courses from bumble and bumble, Sassoon, Aveda, Toni and guy, Horst, yosh toya, and most recently Wella. He is credited with hairstyles in fashion magazines such as British Vogue , WWD, Details, and Rolling Stone and has worked on runway shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Kristy is one of our most soft-spoken stylists, but she’s brimming with enthusiasm for her trade, and it shows; she travels in from upstate New York to Soon daily! She really enjoys cutting hair, especially to create a great men’s cut that works with the client’s natural texture for an effortlessly well-kept look. In addition to her skills as a stylist, Kristy also is a makeup artist and is happy to create new looks for special occasions. When she isn’t in the salon, Kristy is oftentimes found reading, catching up on Parks and Recreation or taking dance classes.
Nanci grew up in California and moved to New York to pursue her career in hair. She really enjoys all aspects of her trade, yet favors long layered haircuts combined with natural, luscious color the most. She gets her inspiration for hair from current fashion trends as well as working with her clients’ natural texture and temperament. In her free time, Nanci is working on her artwork and has started taking piano lessons.
Esther began her journey into hairdressing as an art student and views hairdressing as a art- painting while applying color and sculpting while personalizing each clients haircut. With her Brooklyn charm, each client has a sense of comfort while in her chair. Her goal is to ensure that each client walks past the mirror loving what they see, leaving the salon with a boost of confidence. Certified in Hotheads & SoCap Hair Extensions, Esther has the skill to truly transform her clients hair.
Christina is a true New Yorker born and raised with an influential upbringing around the hottest trends & styles. She has 11+ years of experience and is very passionate about making her clients look & feel great. Christina has a careful eye for detail and a unique approach towards balayage, color correction, hair extensions, and curly hair.
Born and raised Brooklyn girl, she was confident at an early age that this was her passion. Vanessa is always inspired by the newest and top trends of hair and makeup. Keeping it classic or funky. With 7 years under her belt she is able to create a work of art on each individual client. She takes pride in seeing her visions come to life and making clients walk out feeling fabulous!
Brandon is thrilled to be a member of the Soon Beauty Lab team as an Experienced Stylist. Hair has been a part of his life since the beginning. With his mother as a stylist, he spent much of his time growing up in a salon environment, and it inevitably rubbed off on him. He attended the AVEDA Institute in Chicago, IL and Being a perfectionist, he has a deep love for learning and continues to seek education every day. This shines through with every cut and color he does. The inspiration for his work is ignited by current trends, NYC street style, and his own free-spirited and endearing personality. In Brandon’s free time you can find him in his new home of Bushwick, walking his dog Lucy!
Tiffany came to Soon Beauty Lab from Los Angeles, CA. Having accumulated a diverse education from some of the most revered names in the hair industry including Paul Mitchell, Wella, Vivienne Mackinder, and many others. While working as an apprentice under a celebrity stylist at Fred Segal Salon, she found a sudden urge to move to the forefront of fashion’s innovative city the big apple which has lead to her styling editorial shoots & NYFW. Tiffany specializes in balayage ombres, punky colors, textured haircuts, & bouncy blowouts.
Brandon Hoover is a Stylist at our Manhattan location, where he sculpts every clients hair like a work of art. After winning Washington DC's stylist of the year award in 2012, he left the nations capital to pursue a more vibrant challenging career in the Big Apple. From meticulously crafted clipper cuts and sculpted haircuts to colors that pop and textures that tousle Brandon’s talents are as diverse as New York City itself. As a graduate of the Paul Mitchel school, Brandon developed his styling skills at the SACO academy in London where he specialized in men’s cutting and editorial styling. If you’re looking for precision based scissor and clipper cuts for any hair type and texture look no further. A self proclaimed little monster with an obsession with the cosmos, when Brandon’s not in the salon he enjoys “daddy-daughter” time with his Shiba inu, Kepler.

Jackson is very excited to join the Soon team. He is a well rounded stylist who has been doing hair for almost nine years. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Jackson moved to New York for an apprenticeship at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon. As an apprentice Jackson honed his craft under the guidance of several celebrity colorists and worked with many A-list actresses such as Claire Danes, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Sarah Jessica Parker. Jackson specializes in color and describes his aesthetic as Uptown-pretty mixed with downtown-chic. In his spare time Jackson can be found playing guitar or walking his dog Mickey.
